Newburyport, MA – Newburyport Bank has donated $10,000 as a Presenting Sponsor of the YWCA of Greater Newburyport’s Engaging Communities Luncheon. This event will be held at the Riverwalk Brewery on May 8, 2024, from 12 pm - 1:30 pm, with special guest MA Governor Maura Healey.
The YWCA is dedicated to eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. And this year's fundraiser is a crucial milestone in the organization’s ongoing efforts to make a positive impact on the lives of those within the community. This year’s focus will be the affordable housing crisis and the YWCA’s efforts in addressing this issue.
“Since 1885, the YWCA has been an integral part of our community,” said Bank President, Lloyd Hamm. “From affordable housing, numerous community programs, and health and wellness, the YWCA extends itself in an extraordinary way, contributing so much to the community. We are proud to be a luncheon sponsor and support all of their efforts.”
