Newburyport, MA – Newburyport Bank has donated $2,500 to the Strawbery Banke Museum in Portsmouth, New Hampshire as an Annual Signature Events Sponsor. The family friendly 2024 events include Baby Animals and Heritage Breeds at the Banke from April 27 – May 5, Ghosts on the Banke, on September 4, and Candlelight Stroll on October 16.

Strawbery Banke is unique among outdoor history museums, sharing change over time in the same waterfront neighborhood. The Museum interprets a long span of history, from the history of Indigenous Peoples, to the present day. It has evolved from a grassroots nonprofit, to a pillar in the community welcoming over 100,000 annual visitors for year-round programming.

“We are blessed to have Strawbery Banke Museum in our midst,” said Lloyd L. Hamm, President & CEO of the Bank. “The Museum offers something for everybody, year-round, and teaches us so much about the history of our area. The events they hold bring people together, and that’s vital to the sustainability and growth of the area. We are most pleased to sponsor them.”
